      My Clicks!!!

      Glass Painting

It is one of the most interesting and creative art done on Glass.

      How to do:

      • First a traced design is placed on the table and the plain glass is placed above the design, so that the design is clearly seen through the glass.
      • Now using a marker you can trace the design on to your glass.
      • Draw the outline using a glass painting marker which is available in the market.
      • Before you start painting the color, test your shades on the corner of the glass and wipe it off with the thinner.
      • The color choice should be perfect  because the stained glass paint gets dried up fast and the correction cannot be done easily.
      •  Allow it to dry and place a aluminum foil behind the picture and frame it.
      • Aluminum foil can also be crushed and used. Even black velvet cloth or color chat can be used as the back ground.
Tips:The paint is fired so that it fuses with the surface of the glass permanently.

      Embossed Painting

It is the most easiest and attractive art.You get many embossed kits in market with variety of templates and colors to suite the design. All you have to do is use your color sense and paint.

      How to do:
      • The Embossed painting kit comes with a velvet cloth having the design, 6-12 color paints(varies from kit to kit)
      • Take the velvet cloth and iron it on the reverse side. So the template gets embossed.(Adjust the heat so that you don't burn your cloth)
      • Now u can paint with your creativity. You can also use metallic fabric paints and glitters.
      • Allow it to dry for overnight.
      • Once it is dried you can frame it and hang to your wall.

      Sketching!!!

It is a rough drawing representation of an object or Scene.

      Romance

      Sivaji Actor

      My Mom and Dad

A sketch from Ravi varma's Painting

Here are some tips for the beginners:
If you want to make a pencil sketch of any photographs:
      • Get a full scape printout of the photo you want.
      • Now draw equally measured checks using your pencil and a scale all over the printout of your photo as shown in the above image.
      • Now you can take a plain full scape paper and draw equally measured checks as in your photo print( Make sure you draw it lightly using your pencil so that you can erase it later).
      • Now u can count the checks and draw inside each checks referring to your photo prints.
Note: Use pencils of different hardness.

        l

        # You can colour pot with any enamel paint or even fabric paints.
        # If you use metallic colors your pot will have good shiningness.
        # You can use Clays  or M seal to make your own creative designs and attach it to your pot. but you have to wait till the M seal/clay to get dried up before you paint.
        # You can even use all decorative items like beads, mirrors, color ribbons. glitters etc   to make your pot more attractive.
